Gift of Caring Donations

Gift of Caring cookies are donated cookies that are delivered to first responders, military service organizations, and local nonprofits. There are two kinds of Gift of Caring (GOC) donations:

Council Gift of Caring (GOC)

Troop Gift of Caring (TGOC)

Digital Gift of Caring sales that girls make. Booth and personal Gift of Caring sales girls make as well as donations the troop decides to make.
“Virtual cookies” that are not ever held in the troop’s inventory. Physical boxes of cookies that come directly from the troop’s inventory.
Council donates to first responders (fire, police, rescue) or military service groups. Troop donates to a local nonprofit organization or first responders.
eBudde automatically records GOC from digital sales, under the GOC column on the Girl Orders tab in eBudde. Troop Cookie Manager records TGOC from girl sales, under the TGOC column on the Girl Orders tab in eBudde.
The girl sellers get credit for the sale, and the troop gets the related income. The girl sellers get credit for the sale, and the troop gets the related income. For troop-sponsored donations, troops must pay for the cookies.
Council delivers the cookies (or arranges delivery). Troop delivers the cookies, to the organization of their choice.
