How Paper Orders Compare to Digital Orders

How Orders Are Placed Customer writes details on the paper form. Customer adds the details on a girl’s website or in the app.
How Order Payment Works
  1. Customer gives girl cash or check when cookies are delivered.
  2. Girl gives cash or check to troop cookie manager.
  3. Cookie manager credits payment to girl in eBudde.
  1. Customer enters credit card information, when cookies are ordered.
  2. App credits payment to girl in eBudde.
How Orders Are Fulfilled
  1. Girl tells troop cookie manager cookies that are needed.
  2. Troop cookie manager transfers the cookies to the girl in eBudde.
  3. Troop cookie manager provides cookies to fulfill the order.
  4. Girl delivers the cookies to the customer.

General Order of Events for Different Kinds of Orders

For all of the following options, the first step is that the customer places an order. What happens next depends upon how the order was placed.

Paper Order Card
  • Customer places an order.
  • Girl turns in order to troop cookie manager.
  • Troop cookie manager transfers the cookies to the girl in eBudde.
  • Girl gets cookies from troop cookie manager.
  • Girl delivers cookies to customer.
  • Cookies paid for when delivered.
Shipped to Customer, from Digital Order Card
  • Customer places an order.
  • Cookies paid for with credit card when ordered.
  • Cookies sent automatically to customer without any additional action by troop.
Donated by Customer, from Digital Order Card
  • Customer places an order.
  • Cookies paid for with credit card when ordered.
  • Cookies sent automatically to Military/First Responders without any additional action by troop.
Delivered by Girl, from Digital Order Card
  • Customer places an order.
  • Cookies paid for with credit card when ordered.
  • Girl turns in order to troop cookie manager.
  • Troop cookie manager transfers the cookies to the girl in eBudde.
  • Girl gets cookies from troop cookie manager.
  • Girl delivers cookies to customer.
Fulfilled with Cookies In Hand, from Digital Order Card

This option is typically used at Booths or Lemonade Stands. Note that if the girl did NOT use the In Hand option at the booth, she cannot get booth credit for the cookies. Treat them instead as an order that is “Delivered by Girl, from Digital Order Card” (explained above).

  • Customer places an order.
  • Cookies paid for with credit card when ordered.
  • Girl gives cookies to customer, using cookies on hand (for example, when ordered at a booth).
  • Troop cookie manager transfers the cookies to the girl in eBudde:
    • Go to the Girl Order tab in eBudde.
    • Click on the name of the girl who has made the sale.
    • Click the Add Trans. button. A series of green form fields appears at the bottom of the window.
    • Add a comment that indicates the sale is for a DOC Booth Sale.
    • Enter the number of boxes under the Booth column.
    • Click the blue OK button on the lower right.
    • Click the Save button on the upper left.
